

A solo project I worked on reporting on the 2025 Government Shutdown which stands as the longest shutdown in American history. I made an effort to explain how the shutdown started, who is affected and the path forward for progress. I used professors and students from both sides of the aisle to give their thoughts on the shutdown while also providing background information that was fact-checked. It remains the 8th most popular video on the Poly Post YouTube channel at over 1,200 views.

We were able to get a close look as Southern California residents showed up and showed at the Los Angeles, Rancho Cucamonga and Ontario Oct. 18 “No Kings” protests.
Over 7 million protesters participated across the United States, marking the largest single-day demonstration against a sitting president in modern day.
With the government shut down stretching into its fourth week and restrictions imposed upon the press just a few days ago, we at the Poly Post hold onto our honor to serve you the truth and make your voices heard.

I edited this instigative video covering the Lanterman property located near the Cal Poly Pomona Campus. It was discovered that the property has made over 10 million dollars in revenue from Hollywood film projects on the 309-acre property. All assets for the project were given to me and I put together the video to create a cohesive story on the background of Lanterman and how it was bought by Cal Poly Pomona.

The Cal Poly Pomona Turning Point USA chapter hosted their first Pick Up the Mic event, yesterday March 11, 2026. The event was hosted by Will Witt — a conservative commentator, author and one of the new traveling lead speakers for TPUSA since the death of Charlie Kirk.
The video has reached 175,000 people, has 10,000 shares and over 3,000 likes. The goal of the video was to inform campus and spark discussion of these controversial events happening at my school.

The $9 million demolition project has officially begun, in accordance with the Chancellor’s Office, to remove the abandoned Palmitas and Cedritos residential halls, La Cienega Center and the Los Olivos Commons, as a part of the California State University Five-Year Plan to remove structures built on the active earthquake fault.

From what started as a senior project among Cal Poly Pomona students has evolved into an annual music festival hosted at the Fox Theatre. This is my second year covering the event and putting together a video highlighting the students who put it together and talking to music artists who performed.

I did this video freelancing in early 2025, I offered to do a free social media video for the shop in order to make new connections and to get my name out there and expand my portfolio.

An edit of one of my favorite movies Hardball. Edited on Premiere Pro. I posted it to my editing TikTok account December 24, 2024, and it slowly grew to make 270,000 views, 27,000 likes and over 4,000 shares.

The second part of iconic skate spots at Cal Poly Pomona due to popular demand by campus. In this part, me and Matt were able to get interviews from pro skaters such as Ryan Carrell from DGK and Andrew Heilman from Brixton.

My first year covering “It’s not a Phase”, a CPP student-run festival that started as a senior project that has become a staple to the Pomona community. We talk to the INAP team and Rachell Boell who runs the Fox Theatre about how they plan the event.
